Ganesh Rajagopalan is a heralded Indian classical violin maestro, renowned for his virtuosic tonal excellence and creative genius. Recognized as a child prodigy, he began performing at the age of seven, achieving his 100th stage appearance before turning ten. Under the guidance of his guru, Sri T S Rajagopalan, he mastered the violin, earning the prestigious A Top grade from All India Radio.

With nearly five decades of experience, Ganesh’s musical journey has taken him to esteemed venues across the globe, including Queen Elizabeth Hall in London and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. His musical horizons extend far beyond classical Carnatic repertoire, as he seamlessly fuses traditional music with contemporary elements. Ganesh has composed original ragas, scored films, and collaborated with luminaries like Zakir Hussain and John McLaughlin in the groundbreaking ensemble, Shakti.

As an educator, he has shared his passion at prestigious institutions like Princeton and Stanford, and he has founded music schools in Portland and Seattle.
